Can I be the main character?

Yes. Write yourself in by name, or describe someone and let the cast form around them. Second person is a supported point of view, so the story can speak to you directly.

How long can a story get?

As long as you keep writing. Stories run chapter by chapter, and DreamPress carries a memory of what happened — so chapter thirty still knows what was said in chapter one.

Can I edit what it writes?

Every word of it. The editor is a real editor: rewrite a line, cut a scene, reorder chapters, or hand a paragraph back to be expanded, tightened or taken somewhere else.

Is my writing private?

Private by default. Your stories, characters and chats are yours alone until you choose to publish, and anything published can be pulled back to private whenever you like.

Do you allow adult content?
